In terms of magic? I’m not sure, and I’m not sure I ever was sure… other than control of circumstance so that I could improve my personal situation.

However, I also love knowledge, and learning for its own sake.

I can produce a recipe for enchantment; however, I cannot produce a device which enchants other devices (at least, not to its own level, and not without some preparation of the sub-enchanted devices — unless said device receives substantial external empowerment). But like a recipe for cooking, one does not dip the recipe in the soup. Instead, the soup is made by following the steps of the recipe.

I was rather thinking that might be the case.

Given hir hobbies, Hzen Tzen would likely want one for hirself.

An idea for later, perhaps. Who knows, a god might find it amusing to be asked for a recipe for something that is comfortable instead of insanely powerful.

I am skillful, but I am not a god; I cannot produce recipes for enchantments!

La, then, mighty wizard — you are surely and delightfully in need of an expandable bed for sleeping or other activities, and doubtless capable of creating such an artifact. And since Zi Ri are rare and cosmopolitan creatures, I rather suspect that such an artifact (or perhaps a recipe for making one) would command a charming price from other Zi Ri, and perhaps even from other traff folk.
